Reflection Prompt: How did understanding the standards and the pre-comp verification help you design your FE plan? How can you use your ePorfolio to help others understand how to integrate technology more effectively in the classroom? Description: The ePortfolio that I am creating will be used to showcase my knowledge and application of the NETS-TF standards. Artifacts that will be included will be from both my master class projects, as well as field experiences. Impact: To fully understand and plan for ways to implement technology in my classroom, and lead others in using technology in their classrooms, I first had to read and gain a wide understanding of the NETS-TF standards. Without understanding each part of these standards I would not be able to correctly identify the best ways in becoming a technology leader and facilitator. In designing my Field Experience plan I also revisited my pre-comp verification to see areas in which I need to strengthen. I then carefully planned experiences and activities that will enhance my previous knowledge, and help me grow in areas that are weak. Intent: I intend to use my ePortfolio as a tool to showcase my knowledge of integrating and implementing technology. It will also be a resource for other teachers to refer to in locating ideas and activities that will help them better use technology. Although others may not use my exact ideas, it may help them brainstorm similair ideas and activities for themselves.
